As you can see Josh had a great time. We got to do a little bit of everything. Thank you so much for granting his wish. The trip will be one of our family's fondest memories. It truly was MAGICAL. Everything from the limo, the Village and all of the wonderful staff and volunteers made our stay worry free. We all hated to come back to reality.

Shoshana's mom writes:

Thank you sooo much for making this wish happen for Shoshana!!!! Beaches was wonderful. Shoshana had a great time as did all of us. This is a fabulous place for children both small and big. There was sooo much to do, great food, the staff is extremely nice, and the location beautiful. The Sesame Street Characters make it even more exciting.

This truly was an amazing place! Our every wish was made to come true allowing our family to find some joy amidst the many sad days we encounter. Seeing the smiles on our children's faces, knowing the fight for life Gavin is going through and the chaos that his sister endures, was more than overwhelming for us.

This trip was a huge morale booster for Alec because he was physically able to travel to another country, where HE was in charge. Alec did what HE wanted to do. During his cancer treatment he was not in charge. The treatment was in charge. This trip was empowering for him.

Karen Traten accepts a generous check in the amount of $7000 from Jeffrey Hampton, Philadelphia TMA Chapter President - Saul Ewing LLP. The donation was made as a result of Turnaround Management's Annual Networking Charity event held at the Comcast Building in Philadelphia on April 23.

Dennis Heron presents a plaque to Steven Lewis, President of US Restaurants at the company golf outing on June 15. Last year, US Restaurants fulfilled the wishes of 11 children in our area. Thank you to our friends at US Restaurants for your very generous support!

		Karen Traten, Development Director and Dennis Heron, Executive Director of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley accept a donation from Rachel Robinson and Madison Yoder who raised over $600 through a Car Wash and Bake Sale fundraiser. Thank you girls for your caring support!
		Jaci Juliano, a senior at Upper Merion Area High School, raised $1,520 by organizing a benefit concert at her school. The concert, which was her senior project, was a success and the money raised will help to grant a wish for a local girl whose wish is to visit Disney World this summer.
