Andrew, a delightful six year old, was having some trouble deciding on his wish. First he considered a trip to some exotic place but decided that he’d rather share his special day with all of his friends. He'd been looking forward to seeing the movie Robots so a special premier event was arranged at the Riverview Regal Cinema on Columbus Boulevard.

Andrew and 42 guests (21 of his friends plus a parent) dressed in robot costumes and on the big day a red carpet was placed outside the theater entrance. No Hollywood premier is complete without a crowd of adoring fans and Andrew had plenty lining the route from the chartered bus to the door, cheering wildly and holding signs for their favorite movie star.





Once inside, Andrew and his friends were treated to free popcorn and soda and a special screening of Robots – a live animation film featuring the voices of Halle Berry, Drew Carey and Robin Williams.

Carol Dolphin, who along with Amber Sansom acted as Andrew's Wish Granters, writes, "I think this was the best wish for him to be around friends and family and enjoy his speical day."

In addition, many Make-A-Wish volunteers and staff members participated in Andrew's wish, cheering him on as he marched down his red carpet and proving once again that volunteers really do make a difference!
