On behalf of Caleb, our family would like to say THANK YOU!!!

Caleb is a 3 1/2 year old boy with Mitochondrial disease. Because of the disease he functions at about a 5-month-old level physically and is delayed mentally as well. Over a year ago we started the process of building a first floor handicap accessible bedroom and bathroom that would help keep Caleb at home.

In September, Caleb moved into his room. With your help we were able to decorate his room as an underwater scene. I am sending along pictures to show you how it came together. What I can't capture in a picture is the miraculous change we have seen in Caleb since he has "taken up residence" under the sea. Caleb has been more interactive, keeping better eye contact, making more vocalizations, giggling, laughing and smiling much more. He is making more attempts to communicate with us!
