Update - December, 2005:
Paige Armstrong embarks on media tour for Bath & Body Works
Wish kid and rising vocalist Paige Armstrong is making several TV and radio appearances in support of Bath & Body Works’ "The Perfect Christmas" three-disc CD set. Armstrong recorded four songs for the star-studded collection of holiday favorites, which are included on a separate CD featuring her and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Aspiring singer Paige, 13, often turned to music to find strength and comfort during her battle with bone cancer. For her wish, Paige chose a recording experience in a Christian music setting because she felt she'd most likely not be able to do it on her own.
With that in mind, the Make-A-Wish team put together a special trip to Nashville that included two days in a recording studio where Paige worked with back-up singers, musicians, mixers and producers to cut two songs for her CD.
Afterwards Paige wrote us this letter and sent a very creative thank you card:
I don't think I could ever thank you enough for putting my Make-A-Wish together and literally making my dream come true! I had such an incredible time, it was absolutely amazing!
This entire experience was more than I ever could have hoped for. Each person I worked with was so wonderful and the talent that went into this production was inspiring!
Every event we went to, from the "Grand Ole Opry" to the "General Jackson Riverboat" was outstanding and introduced country to me in a way I had never known before. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everyone's efforts who were involved in helping put this together for me!
