Make-A-Wish Foundation volunteer Frank Fosbre writes:

Tedora's wish was a pleasure to be involved with as there was NO DOUBT as to what her wish would be. After she showed Ash, Seema, and myself her bedroom with all of the tropical pictures hanging and painted on the wall and after she told us how much she enjoyed snorkling and fishing with her Dad, she then showed us the back of the shorts that she was wearing that read "MAUI". This was very funny but also confirmed her wish of going to Hawaii!

I was impressed with the progress Teodora was making after having a brain tumor removed. She was determined to get back to normal activities through therapy which even impressed her therapists of her disire to be a champion swimmer again. Her effort just to try to speak clearly showed me how serious her condition was. Her dreams and determination I am sure will lead her to a full recovery. She is such a sweet girl.

Her trip to Hawaii was just what she expected - she snorkeled with her Dad, went on a helicopter ride, and even caught a fish on her special fishing trip that was planned for her and her family.

Teodora's wish experience was a pleasure for me as well as her family! Someday we will see her as a champion swimmer in the Olympics!
